Fifteen Years of Learning…and Counting!

It’s almost unfathomable that this small, impactful practice has existed for 15 years. After years of working with others, in 2008, I set out with a fierce independence to create this practice. To say that it – that I – have morphed and grown tremendously since then is an understatement.

Here are a few tidbits I’ve learned along the way. One learning to represent each of the years that this practice has been creating change, healing, and transformation.

  1. All the world is conspiring in helping me to follow my dreams. So I dream BIG.
  2. Never stop healing. We’re human, it’s messy, we’re all wounded. So keep digging.
  3. Always value yourself and your contributions to the world. And the world will value you back.
  4. It’s ok not to know. Great un-coverings and discoveries happen when I’ve stepped into the not knowing.
  5. Always take responsibility for your part. Whether I’ve just inserted my foot into my mouth yet again or I’ve stepped on someone’s toes, a simple apology and acknowledgement goes a long way.
  6. Though I often forget it, I am being carried sacredly. My motley crew of angels works really hard to keep ALL the things in flow.
  7. Illuminate and dance with your shadows. Integrating all parts of yourself is deep medicine.
  8. Again and again and again. It’s the only way to evolve.
  9. Ask the dumb question. It may or may not lead to a breakthrough but it is worth it every time.
  10. Don’t take yourself so seriously. This too shall pass.
  11. Stay at your growth edges. Learning is the only way through this adventure that we call life.
  12. Hire Unicorns. I’ve had the pleasure of working beside and partnering with some of the most amazing people. Each one of them has made the practice better, and they each have made me better.
  13. When all else fails, say the hard thing.
  14. Use fire wands cautiously and with intention. Fire = transformation. There is a difference between a controlled burn and scorching.
  15. Intentionally left blank…because we never stop becoming!

Here’s to many more years of growing and learning.
