Some leadership questions need more than one conversation.

Leadership Wisdom Circles are small, virtual experiences for thoughtful, values-driven leaders who want a place to examine what they are carrying, learn alongside peers, and integrate new awareness into how they lead in real time.

Across several weeks, you return to the conversation, to the group, and to yourself. You notice what is shifting. You try something differently. You reflect on what happens. And each time you return, the learning has somewhere new to land.

Why a Wisdom Circle?

Insight deepens when you have somewhere to practice it.

Between Wisdom Circle gatherings, you return to your actual leadership. You have the conversation. Make the decision. Notice the familiar pattern before it takes over. Try something differently. And then you return to a trusted group with new information about yourself, your leadership, and what the moment may be asking of you.

The breakthroughs do not happen only inside the Circle. They happen between gatherings, too, as insight meets real relationships, real decisions, and real consequences.

This is learning and leading in real time. The Circle becomes a place to practice, integrate, and keep becoming.

HOW THE CIRCLE WORKS

The work moves with you.

A Wisdom Circle is not a series of disconnected conversations. Each gathering builds on what came before and creates something to carry into what comes next.

BEFORE WE BEGIN

About a week before the first gathering, you will receive a What to Expect note and thoughtful pre-work designed to help you arrive connected to yourself, the moment you are in, and the questions you want to explore.

WE GATHER

A small, consistent cohort of thoughtful leaders meets virtually for facilitated reflection, leadership inquiry, and candid peer dialogue. Groups are intentionally intimate, creating room to think aloud, challenge assumptions, and learn alongside people carrying questions of similar weight. We create the conditions for candid conversation, mutual respect, and the kind of trust that allows people to speak honestly without needing to perform certainty.

YOU TAKE IT WITH YOU

Between gatherings, you return to your actual work with reflection questions, practices, and invitations to experiment with what is emerging. The learning does not sit in a notebook waiting for the next session.

WE RETURN

At the next gathering, you bring back what happened. What shifted. What surprised you. What worked. What did not. What you are noticing now.

And the conversation continues from there.

Depth, without leaving your life to find it.

Wisdom Circles are intentionally virtual, making it possible for thoughtful leaders across geographies, organizations, and industries to gather in one meaningful space.

The virtual format keeps the work close to the life in which your leadership is actually happening. You leave the Circle and immediately return to the relationships, decisions, tensions, and systems you are navigating. You have an opportunity to practice what is emerging while it is still alive, notice what happens, and bring that experience back to the group.

The work happens in the Circle.

And then it keeps happening everywhere else.

Sometimes what you’re navigating needs somewhere to be held, explored, tested, and returned to over time.

Wisdom Circles are for leaders who…

  • Are navigating a question, transition, or leadership challenge that will unfold over time.
  • Want thoughtful peers without the performance or networking theater.
  • Are hungry for continuity beyond a single moment of insight.
  • Want a regular place to step outside the urgency and notice how you are actually leading.
  • Are ready to understand a familiar pattern by experimenting with something different.
  • Value accountability, but do not want another place where you have to perform progress.
  • Want the perspective of leaders outside your organization who can see what you may be too close to see.
  • Are looking for wise companionship while still trusting yourself to find your own answers.
  • Want what you are learning about yourself to show up in the conversations, choices, and relationships that matter.

What becomes possible over time

Change has Somewhere to Take Root

The power of a Wisdom Circle is not found in one breakthrough conversation. It builds through returning, practicing, noticing, and integrating what you are learning while your leadership continues to unfold.

Greater Awareness

Notice your patterns sooner. Recognize what pulls you into urgency, overfunctioning, certainty, or familiar responses before the pattern begins leading for you.

Deeper Integration

Move insight out of the Circle and into your actual leadership. What you are learning begins to show up in your choices, conversations, relationships, and the way you meet complexity.

Wise Companionship

Build meaningful relationships with thoughtful peers who understand the weight of leadership without needing to share your organization, industry, or exact circumstances.

Greater Self-Trust

Strengthen your ability to hear what you know, stay with uncertainty, and act from your own discernment rather than continually looking outside yourself for the answer.

Sustained Movement

Keep the questions that matter alive long enough for something real to change. Instead of insight disappearing beneath the next urgent demand, you have a place to return, reflect, and keep moving.

The practice becomes less about knowing more, and more about leading from what you know.

The proof is in what begins to change between gatherings.

A meaningful conversation matters. What interests us even more is what happens when you take that conversation back into your leadership, try something differently, and discover that you have more choice than you realized.

I found The Leadership Wisdom Circle to be a deeply transformational experience. It challenged me to do deep interior work to get to know myself, my motivations, and my biases so that I better understand myself as a leader. At the same time, I left every session with concrete, practical ideas that I could take back to my team.  My session had leaders from a wide range of backgrounds and professions, and we learned as much from each other as we did from the curriculum. The space that Meghan and Kate created for us to build community, and allow for deep introspection and vulnerability among strangers, virtually, was truly impressive. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
Transformative and Highly Recommended!
I highly recommend the Leadership Wisdom Circle lead by Meghan Clarke and team. The format, consisting of five focused 90-minute sessions, provided the perfect balance of commitment and impact.
This program truly excels at creating a supportive, confidential space where women can genuinely connect, share insights, and learn how to unlock their individual leadership styles. The success of the experience was deeply rooted in powerful storytelling and content sharing; learning directly from the varied journeys of others was incredibly insightful and enriching.
It was a transformative and impactful journey that helped me not only define and grow my own leadership potential but also forge meaningful, valuable new connections. If you are looking for focused growth and genuine community, this experience is a must.

Organizational Packages

Develop your leaders, without taking them out of their leadership.

Organizations may purchase packages of six Leadership Wisdom Circle seats at a preferred rate, giving leaders access to sustained development that happens alongside the real work they are already leading. Participants can join the Circle experience most relevant to their role, questions, or current leadership moment while benefiting from thoughtful facilitation, outside perspective, and a consistent place to reflect and integrate over time.

Organizations are already using six-seat packages to extend Lead Like It Matters development across their leadership ecosystems.

About Your Facilitators

Through Lead Like It Matters, she helps leaders step outside the urgency, reconnect with what they already know, and lead what comes next with greater coherence, capacity, and courage.

Kate McCracken

Kate McCracken is a senior organizational health practitioner, facilitator, and coach who brings strategic insight, relational intelligence, and a deeply grounded presence to the work of leadership. Need more concentrated space?

Lead Like It Matters retreats offer a full day away from the ordinary pace of leadership for deeper reflection, strategic inquiry, and intentional choice.

Where Wisdom Circles create continuity over time, retreats create the spaciousness to step fully outside the day-to-day and see what may be difficult to recognize from inside it.

Ready to stay with the question?

You do not need to know where the conversation will lead before you begin.
