Introducing Our New Community Storyteller

My name is Jenny Yanosik and today I start my journey as the Community Storyteller at M E Clarke Consulting. I am currently a student at the University of Cincinnati studying Fashion Design: Product Development at the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP). This is my final year in the DAAP program and I am fortunate enough to be completing my final co-op at M E Clarke Consulting.

My previous co-ops have been traditional fashion jobs where I designed for major retail brands in New York City. I have lived in Brooklyn, Hell’s Kitchen, and Mid-town and commuted by subway to work. New York City has become a second home to me; it is comfortable. However, as I discover more about myself, I realized that I have strong interests in Branding and Strategic Visioning. I found that I needed to break out of my comfort zone in order to pursue these interests. That is how I knew M E Clarke Consulting would be such a positive fit for me. Working here will be unlike any job that I have experienced, right down to my morning commute.

Despite the unfamiliarity, I have such a positive feeling about the journey that I am embarking on. When Meghan and Lucy explained their philosophy, Journey by Discovery, I knew this was going to be such a beneficial experience. What better way is there to learn a new set of skills than by taking action and doing? And what an amazing space to learn a new set of skills! From the beginning it was clear the passion and hard work that Meghan and Lucy put into their work. The walls are filled with company goals and personal strengths. The office environment is set up for success. Over the weekend I developed a few goals that I plan to accomplish during my time at M E Clarke Consulting and even though I have only been here a short time, I can tell that I will be able to accomplish these goals as well as any other task that may arise. I feel extremely confident taking my first steps in my personal Journey by Discovery.
